Job summary

UWE Bristol's City Campus in Bristol is seeking an organised Art Shop Technician to support Teaching and Learning within Technical Services. You will prepare materials for students, assist with events and exhibitions, and help maintain a welcoming, well-organised Art Shop environment.

You will advise staff and students on materials and equipment, support stock control and routine operations, and contribute to safe working practices and administration across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to advise on materials and equipment for staff and students.
• Organised, approachable and committed to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the Art Shop, including material prep and stock control.
• Assist with events and exhibitions and contribute to admin across the service.
• Provide guidance to staff and students on appropriate materials and equipment and maintain safe working practices.
