Job summary

WQE in Leicester is seeking a Creative Arts Enrichment Assistant (Maternity Cover, Fixed Term) to plan and deliver engaging arts sessions for students as part of the enrichment programme. The role also involves supporting administrative tasks related to creative arts enrichment and coordinating activities with staff across the college.

The post is fixed term (maternity cover), 37 hours per week during term time, with a salary on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff pay scale 7-10

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering art workshops to youth.
• Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative arts sessions for enrichment programme for students.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to creative arts enrichment.
• Organise sessions and coordinate with the curriculum area to ensure quality outcomes.
