Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking an Art Teacher for an immediate start in the NG22 area. The role is a long-term supply position with a competitive daily rate and a supportive school environment.

You will deliver engaging Art lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, align with the national curriculum, and contribute to a collaborative Art department. Qualified teachers with UK experience, DBS checks, and strong references are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Art at secondary level within the UK
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for creative education and student success
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Recent and relevant teaching references

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum
• Encourage students to develop confidence, imagination and technical skills
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes
