Job summary

St Philips Care Group is seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator to plan and run a weekly program of engaging activities for residents, ensuring dignity and promoting independence. You will join an established team and work on imaginative activities with some autonomy in execution.

Candidates should be flexible, able to prioritise, and interact well with colleagues at all levels. Beneficial attributes include dementia awareness, confidentiality, and budget-minded planning.

Qualifications

Flexible approach to work.

Good forward planning and a methodical approach to work.
Ability to innovate.
Be able to work within a budget as set out by the home manager.
Have a good understanding of the activities and their benefits to the residents.
Some Knowledge of Dementia Care.
Some knowledge of working in a confidential setting.

Responsibilities

Plan and run a weekly program of activities for Activity Group members.
Be innovative and enthusiastic with autonomous planning and execution of activities.
