Job summary

St Philips Care Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a weekly program for residents in our Activities Group. You will be creative, enthusiastic and capable of working with some autonomy in planning and running activities that promote dignity and independence.

Candidates should be flexible, able to prioritise workload, interact with staff at all levels, and have some knowledge of dementia care.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to work and able to adapt to changing needs.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Good forward planning and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to innovate and think creatively in activity planning.
• Ability to work within a home budget as set out by the manager.
• Understand the benefits of activities for residents.
• Some knowledge of dementia care and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run a weekly programme of activities for Activity Group members.
