Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Group is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Spring Lodge Care Home in Woolverstone, Ipswich. You will design and run a diverse programme of daily activities in arts, theatre, music, hospitality and events to promote wellbeing and socialisation among residents.

Experience in a similar role in care, community, leisure, hospitality or event management is welcome. Reports to Home Manager/ Regional Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in leisure, lifestyle, hospitality or event management is an advantage.
• Experience in arts/theatre/music/hospitality/event hosting preferred.
• Ability to develop engaging activities for residents and manage volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a wide variety of daily activities for residents.
• Encourage wellbeing, socialisation and harmony through programmes.
• Work with Home Manager/ Regional Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager on activity plans.
