Job summary

Kingfisher Court Residential Home in Clifton, Nottingham, NG11, is seeking a caring Activities Coordinator to join our dedicated team. You will create engaging activity programmes that promote wellbeing and social inclusion for residents, including those living with dementia.

Plan monthly schedules, manage a budget, coordinate events with staff, and maintain clear records of daily activities to ensure meaningful days for all residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting and/or developing a range of events and activities that promote purposeful days.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with ability to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and implement monthly activity programmes that consider the individual needs and choice of all people who live within the care home.
• Create an atmosphere of social inclusion and purposeful days.
• Work to a budget and create methods of fundraising.
• Maintain up to date records of daily activities using appropriate documentation
