Job summary

Meallmore in Bearsden is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver imaginative activity programmes for residents. You will bring energy, creativity and a people-centred approach to enhance wellbeing and social interaction in a warm care-home setting.

The role requires excellent communication, planning skills and a confident use of IT. A driving licence is essential to support occasional outings and community activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to plan, organise and be flexible in your approach.
• Good IT skills, including familiarity with IT applications and social media.

Responsibilities

• Create diverse, engaging activity programmes tailored to residents’ abilities and interests.
• Represent Meallmore and build strong community relationships.
• Coordinate and lead group activities (arts, crafts, games, sessions, outings).
• Work with the care team to involve them in activities and events.
• Source external entertainers or volunteers from the local community.
• Maintain records of resident participation and feedback.
