Job summary

Muller Severnside is recruiting a Cream Production Operative in the Cream Department. The role is full-time and permanent, based at Severnside (Stroud, GL10 2DG). Salary is £30,200.98 with a Monday–Friday shift pattern.

You will work in a temperature-controlled dairy environment, support a high-performing team and help deliver production targets, safety, and quality obligations.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Cream Production Operative within the Cream Department at Muller Severnside.

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Salary: £30,200.98

Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday (6am – 2.30pm / 2.30pm – 11pm)

Location: Severnside – Stroud - GL10 2DG

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Follow all relevant legal compliance, and company policies and procedures
• Take responsibility for performance compliance.
• Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles.
• Actively undertake any training and development to provide effective succession planning and develop a high performing team.
• Work with the team to identify, implement and sustain cost saving initiatives.
• Deliver business initiatives to reduce waste.
• Ensure all dairy plant and equipment is appropriately cared for by raising issues to Team Leader.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards and requirements.
• Ensure all quality system controls and procedures are followed effectively to maintain product integrity.

Muller Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to Health & Safety by appropriately and challenging unsafe practices, raising hazards and responding promptly and effectively to all hazards raised by others.
• Actively support and encourage all relevant group Health & Safety and EMS practices and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that all relevant Health and Safety and EMS practices are adhered to.
• Contribute to the improvement of improvement initiatives documented in the Site Annual Operating Plan
• Ensure that all relevant data is captured and recorded promptly.
• To understand and be accountable for the performance measures within your control.
