Müller UK & Ireland is hiring a Chill Shift Lead for our Severnside dairy site. The role focuses on developing a high-performing team, coaching, and enabling continuous improvement to meet targets.

You will coach and develop staff, deploy development plans via LMS, and drive OE initiatives aligned to OGSM. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits within a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver development plans via LMS for the team.
• Develop succession pathways across the organisation.
• Demonstrate high-level problem solving and facilitation skills.
• Proactively visit workstations to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Coach frontline team members to empower problem solving.
• Apply PDCA techniques to deliver real-time solutions.
• Lead OE initiatives aligned to OGSM and quantify impact.
• Encourage identification of waste and convert into OE projects.
• Manage performance reviews, development, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance business performance.
• Demonstrate Health and Safety commitment and implement corrective actions.

We are recruiting for a Chill Shift Lead to join us at our Muller Dairy in Severnside. In this role you will develop and empower our people creating a high performing team. Enabling the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Full Time/Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Location: Severnside

Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To

• Creating and delivering development plans through LMS for own team aligned to OGSM
• Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation
• High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills
• Go, look, see issues by visiting the workstation when called upon
• Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems
• Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to "100 year fix" in real time
• Enabling team to create and deliver OE opportunities aligned to OGSM
• Encourages others to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own OE projects
• Owns and delivers OE initiatives and is recognised for these
• Drives OE opportunities throughout the team
• Supports team to demonstrate OE contribution through PDP process
• Looks and encourages others to find 'waste' opportunities in everything we do
• People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of the team and dealing with employee relations issues
• Collaboratively work with other teams to improve our business
• Health and Safety commitment demonstrated through go, look, see and put in place corrective actions
