Job summary

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) is seeking a Crane Service Engineer (Electrical bias) for a permanent position based on Teesside. Immediate start subject to interview; salary £40,000–£48,000 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications

Electro-mechanical background with electrical bias.
Strong fault-finding experience without drawings.
Experience with three-phase systems and associated equipment.
Hands-on experience with cranes, hoists, inverters, drives, motors and gearboxes.
Willingness to work at height and travel to sites.
Valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Inspect, service, maintain and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, often without the aid of detailed electrical drawings.
Carry out fault finding and repairs on motors, inverters, drives, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Operate and work safely with overhead cranes and lifting equipment, including slinging and lifting operations.
Maintain accurate service records and provide clear reports to customers.
Deliver excellent customer service by being professional and safety focussed.
