Job summary

CPB Northwest Ltd. is seeking an experienced Lift Supervisor to lead crane and lifting operations on site in the United Kingdom. You will ensure all lifts follow the approved lift plan, check credentials, and supervise the crew to maintain safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include pre-lift briefings, monitoring conditions and hazards, and ensuring RCIs and safety devices remain active, with strict adherence to LOLER 1998 and BS 7121 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising crane lifts on construction or heavy industrial sites.
• Knowledge of LOLER 1998 and BS 7121.
• Ability to read and follow lift plans.
• Commitment to safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee day-to-day crane and lifting operations on site.
• Ensure lifts follow the lift plan and AP guidance.
• Verify competency cards and certificates are in date.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor ground conditions, weather and hazards.
• Ensure RCIs and safety devices are active and prevent overrides.
