Job summary

Spinwell Global is recruiting for a CPR Team Victims Services Support Officer in Liverpool to support the PCC's Victim Care grant funded services across Merseyside, including commissioning, monitoring and development of funded activities.

The post requires strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills, experience with grant funding, policy development and stakeholder engagement, plus the ability to work confidently with partners in a busy public sector environment.

Qualifications

• An understanding of victim service and grant funding commissioning, reporting, and evaluation.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with diverse organisations.
• Knowledge of contract law and service commissioning processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic analysis skills.

Spinwell is recruiting for a CPR Team Victims Services Support Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CPR TEAM VICTIMS SERVICES SUPPORT OFFICER

• To support the commissioning, monitoring and development of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Victim Care grant funded services across Merseyside.
• To assist the reporting of funded activities to the PCC and the Police and Crime Panel and assist in the promotion of the PCC’s victim services through awareness raising activity and supporting the PCC’s income generation work.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CPR TEAM VICTIMS SERVICES SUPPORT OFFICER

• An understanding of victim service and grant funding commissioning, reporting, and evaluation, have relevant experience in a similar role, or can demonstrate the potential for excellence in such a role. The post holder should be educated to post graduate level or have relevant qualifications and/or experience. Knowledge of delivering research findings within an organisation and of using research to inform policy and strategy development is desirable.
• The postholder should be able to develop and maintain positive relationships and partnerships with a wide range of different people from different organisations.
• Have a knowledge of contract law and service commissioning processes or will be able to demonstrate a willingness to develop such knowledge.
• The ability to display confidence, initiative, forward thinking and self motivation to deliver the requirements of the unit and wider department.
• Excellent analytical skills. The post holder must have sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of the concepts and principles underlying strategic analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The post holder must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the completion of written reports, as detailed within this JDQ.
• The postholder should have experience of presenting their work in a formal setting to an audience or show potential to be able to present in a professional manner.
