Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are currently seeking an experienced Telehandler Driver to join a busy housing development in Newcastle. You will be responsible for operating a telehandler safely, moving materials around site and supporting the wider site team with day-to-day construction activities.

Role is full-time with long-term prospects. You’ll work with a trusted construction recruitment company that provides ongoing support and opportunities on major projects in the North East.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on a construction site.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Full PPE required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy housing site.
• Load, unload and move materials around site.
• Assist trades and site management as required.
• Carry out daily checks of the telehandler.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clear and organized.
• Work as part of the wider site team.

• Keeping work areas clear and organised
• Working as part of the wider site team

Requirements

• Valid
