Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting an experienced CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor to join a construction project in Abergavenny. You will supervise lifting operations, coordinate crane operators and lifting teams, and ensure activities are conducted safely on site.

Required is a valid CPCS Crane/Lift Supervisor card, prior supervision of lifting on civil or construction sites, and a solid knowledge of lifting plans and regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Crane/Lift Supervisor card required.
• Experience supervising lifting operations on construction or civil sites.
• Strong understanding of lifting plans, crane operations and lifting regulations.
• Safety-critical mindset and ability to lead teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate lifting operations per approved plans and site procedures.
• Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in compliance with legislation.
• Brief and direct crane operators, slingers/signallers and lifting teams.
• Monitor lifting operations to maintain safe systems of work on site.
