Job summary

The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU) is recruiting an Investigation Support Officer to join undercover operations as part of a team responsible for the safe and ethical deployment of Undercover Foundation Officers.

Key duties include providing investigative support for undercover tactics, recording observation evidence promptly and securely, and ensuring operational safety and ethical collection of intelligence and/or evidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in covert policing is beneficial.
• Ability to assess risk and make fast time decisions to alleviate risk.
• Comfort working in a multi agency covert environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing investigative support for undercover tactics and ensuring observation evidence is recorded timely and documented properly.
• Providing operational support to Undercover Foundation Operatives and the wider team to maintain safety and ethical collection of intelligence.
