Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools in the St Helens area. The role starts in October 2026, with potential to become permanent, and duties involve delivering lessons to ages 11-16 using provided resources.

The advertised daily rate is £100–£150, with pay including holiday pay and a PAYE arrangement. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management, excellent behaviour management, and the ability to engage students in class.

Start Date: ASAP

I am working with a number of secondary schools in the St. Helens area that require an engaging Cover Supervisor for roles starting in October 2026. The role is to work within a school setting, work will be provided and you will use it to deliver the lesson. The daily rate for this role is from £100 – £150 per day. Pay rate is dependent on level of qualifications, experience and additional training. Advertised rate of pay is inclusive of holiday pay.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have an outgoing personality and will maintain a high standard of classroom management, in order to keep students on task. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a school environment.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor

• Deliver secondary subjects to ages 11-16

To be considered for this position of Cover Supervisor you must have:
