Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across Retford secondary schools. You will be the friendly face in the classroom, supporting learning when a teacher is absent and delivering pre-prepared work.

You will manage behaviour, follow lesson plans, adapt to different subjects and year groups, and build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Flexible day-to-day and long-term assignments available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.

• Strong classroom management and behaviour-management skills.

Cover Supervisors Wanted!

Retford - Day-to-Day, Short-Term & Long-Term Assignments

Are you ready to make a difference without having to plan the lesson?

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join our team and work across our fantastic partnership secondary schools in Retford.

What will you be doing?

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be the friendly face at the front of the classroom, helping keep students engaged and learning when their usual teacher is unavailable.

Your day could include:

• Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared work
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Ensuring students complete the work set by their teacher
• Supporting and encouraging students with their learning
• Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns
• Working across a variety of secondary schools and year groups
• Building positive relationships with students and school staff
• Adapting to different classrooms, subjects and school environments

• Experience working with children or young people
