Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking Cover Supervisors to support local secondary schools in Warrington as the term ends and the holiday period concludes. You will enter schools directly and provide supervision, ensuring students stay on task and complete set work.

Ideal candidates bring confidence, strong communication skills, and experience with young people. DBS updated via the Update Service or ready to obtain one quickly is preferred. Roles include long-term or day-to-day supply with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Strong confidence and clear communication in front of a group.
• Experience with young people through youth work, coaching, support work, university, or school-based settings.
• DBS Enhanced on Update Service or ability to obtain one quickly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-set lessons and ensure students complete their assigned work.
• Maintain a positive, orderly, and focused classroom environment.
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
• Assist students with questions and keep them engaged throughout the lesson.
• Collect completed work at the end of the lesson and pass it to the department.
• Take student attendance accurately at the start of each period.
