Academics LTD is working with numerous excellent secondary schools in and around the Trowbridge area, currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join ASAP / September 2024. We are seeking proactive, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to oversee lessons and support students' learning while maintaining the schools' high standards for behaviour, especially when teacher colleagues are absent.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in the education sector or an aspiring educator. It is also a great opportunity for graduates looking to take their first step into teaching. GCSEs in Maths or English (C or above) are required. There are also extensive opportunities to support SEN children for those interested or passionate about this area.

Main Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

1. Manage the behaviour of students to ensure a constructive learning environment
2. Oversee the work set by the class teacher
3. Act as a role model and develop positive relationships with students and staff
4. Commit to safeguarding and the health and safety of students
