The East Manchester Academy in Manchester is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. You will supervise classes during teacher absence, maintain high behaviour standards and provide feedback to colleagues on student progress.

You will support wider school activities such as exam invigilation and educational visits, contributing to a positive learning environment and future career in education.

Qualifications

• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills; experience with school-aged children in paid or voluntary capacity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues, manage workload independently, and adapt in a busy school environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students stay engaged and complete work set by staff.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and provide feedback on students' progress and attitudes to learning.
