Job summary

Rainhill High School is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor and PE Technician to support learning across the school. You will supervise classes, follow lesson plans, and ensure effective behaviour management when teachers are absent.

You will also oversee PE equipment, assist in delivering the extracurricular programme and support Duke of Edinburgh activities. With a strong commitment to safeguarding and a desire to make a difference, you will work in a supportive environment with opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a school setting with children and young people is essential.
• Commitment to making a difference in student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom cover and supervision during short-term teacher absences with prepared lesson plans.
• Supervise individuals and groups of students under direction of teaching staff, enabling access to learning.
• Assist in planning and coordinating daily cover for staff absence and related PE admin support.
• Support PE department in delivering extracurricular programme and Duke of Edinburgh activities.
