Prospero Teaching are working with good schools across North London who are looking for adaptable and flexible Cover Supervisors to join their team on a regular basis.

These exciting roles are designed to support those who are keen to kick start a career in teaching and will offer you class-based experience, giving you the chance to truly fine tune your behaviour management skills.

COVER SUPERVISOR ROLES:

These roles are on a temporary basis and will see you working with different classes throughout the day. As a Cover Supervisor, you’re not expected to teach, plan or mark any of the work, but you will be required to manage behaviour effectively as the pupils work through pre-planned lessons.

Flexible and adaptable are key elements to being successful in this role as Cover Supervisor.

COVER SUPERVISOR ROLES ACROSS NORTH LONDON:

Based in and around North London, our client schools work hard to ensure that their Cover Team work inclusively and fairly. Pupils at the schools we work with are keen to learn and respond well to a friendly and respectful approach.

COVER SUPERVISOR CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

• Type of work – Class cover, Support
• Contract type – Temporary
• Minimum rate of pay – £95 per day

Hours – 8:15am-4pm (term time only)

COVER SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• hold a degree of 2:1 or higher is desirable.
• Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
• To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references.
