The Opportunity

Are you passionate about working with young people and supporting their learning? We're looking for a proactive Cover Supervisor to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Evesham. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the classroom, helping students stay on track, and ensuring a positive learning environment while the teacher is away.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a smooth classroom experience, supervising students, and helping them stay engaged with the work set by the class teacher.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and focused.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive, respectful environment.
• Supporting students with any questions or issues related to the work set.
• Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Completing administrative tasks related to cover work as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Communication Skills: You should be confident interacting with students and staff.
• Classroom Management: You'll need to maintain discipline and keep students focused on their work.
• Experience: Previous experience in an education or youth setting is preferred but not essential.
