South Hunsley School and Sixth Form is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support students by ensuring high-quality learning and targeted help when a teacher is absent or unavailable. The role can suit those aspiring to teach in the future or those seeking an education-sector role without planning/marking.

Hours are 08:25–15:30, term-time, with extra 31.25 hours yearly for meetings and development. Starting salary £20,957.19 per annum, paid in 12 equal installments.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in numeracy and literacy.
• Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
• Solid classroom management knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Supervise classes in the absence of the subject teacher.
• Provide support to departmental colleagues and teams.
