Job summary

Benton Park School in Rawdon, on the outskirts of Leeds, is seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant, inclusive community. You will support learning by supervising pupils during short-term absences and helping to maintain a calm, orderly classroom environment.

You will work flexibly across classrooms and larger spaces, contributing to high standards of behaviour and teaching support, and you will assist with practical tasks, first aid and other duties to keep the school operating

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation by providing flexible cover across classroom-based lessons, large spaces and other supervised student activities.
• Contribute to a calm, purposeful and inclusive school environment, maintaining high expectations of behaviour, engagement and conduct.
• Provide practical and administrative support linked to cover, student supervision, first aid and wider school operations as directed.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability:

• Tosupervise students during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuringthat students are safe, well managed and able to complete the learning set.
• Tosupport the smooth day-to-day operation of the school by providing flexiblecover across classroom-based lessons, large spaces and other supervised studentactivities as required.
• Tocontribute to a calm, purposeful and inclusive school environment, maintaininghigh expectations of behaviour, engagement and conduct.
