Job summary

Link3 Recruitment Limited is seeking a Cover Supervisor with an Art & Design focus to support Coventry secondary schools. You will take charge in the classroom when teachers are absent and bring creativity to life while guiding students through Art & Design and other subjects.

This role offers flexible working patterns, with full-time, part-time and day-to-day supply available, and a chance to gain essential classroom experience for those pursuing teacher training.

Salary: £110 - £135.50 (dependent on experience)

What you'll be doing:

• Stepping into the classroom when teachers are absent
• Bringing your creativity to life while managing a range of subjects (with a chance to shine in Art & Design)
• Supporting students to stay on track with pre-prepared work
• Gaining invaluable classroom experience – perfect for aspiring teachers!

What we're looking for:

• A strong interest in Art, Design, and creative education
• Have some understanding across all Key Stages up to GCSE's and A' Levels
• Confident classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour effectively
• Flexibility to work across various Coventry Secondary schools
• Ideally experience working with young people (but not essential)

Requirements:

• All applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, which will be verified as part of our safeguarding and compliance process.
• DBS: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) prior to starting work, unless already registered on the Update Service. The cost of a new DBS will be covered by the applicant.
• For roles below Cover Supervisor level, a minimum of GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) is required, and evidence of these qualifications must be provided.
