GSL Education is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join thriving secondary schools in Wolverhampton and nearby areas. You will supervise classes during short-term absences, deliver pre-planned lessons, and help students stay engaged with their learning.

This full-time, long-term role offers a daily rate of £120-£140 and provides safeguarding responsibilities. DBS checks and safeguarding training will be completed for successful candidates.

• Experience with children or young people is desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged with their learning
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies and expectations
• Support students with their learning and respond to questions where appropriate
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress, behaviour, and lesson outcomes

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students
• Confidence working independently and managing groups of students
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
