Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school in Walsall from November 2026 on a long-term supply basis. You will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students complete the work set by their regular teachers and help maintain a positive learning environment.

You will manage behaviour, uphold school policies and build positive relationships with students and staff, contributing to learning and wellbeing while covering teacher absence.

Qualifications

• Experience with secondary school students or confidence supporting young people.
• Ability to supervise classes and ensure pre-prepared work is completed.
• Demonstrate effective behaviour management and communication skills.
• Confident managing a classroom and maintaining a focused learning environment.

• Pay: £500–£750 per week, dependent on assignment and experience
• Key Stages: KS3 and KS4

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school in Walsall from November 2026 on a long-term supply basis.

The successful candidate will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students remain engaged and complete the work set by their regular teachers. You will help maintain a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour and ensure that students follow school policies and expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to contribute to their education and development.
