Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about education and seeking a rewarding opportunity in secondary schools across the Wirral?

Academics is currently recruiting a cover supervisor to work within our client secondary schools across the Wirral on a daily supply basis, starting ASAP and continuing until April 2024.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
2. Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
3. Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive, respectful atmosphere
4. Adhering to school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage the classroom effectively
• Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or willingness to obtain one (cost applies)
