Job summary

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic High School in Widnes is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning across the school, working as part of a collaborative team to ensure high-quality supervision and pastoral support.

You will follow well-planned curricula, prepare resources, and maintain consistent routines to help pupils achieve their learning goals within the Catholic ethos of the school.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes and support learning under lesson plans.
• Maintain clear, calm routines to ensure orderly classroom management.
• Collaborate with staff to support the school’s curriculum and pupil welfare.

Our Cover Supervisors work closely as a team to establish strong relationships with staff and students across the school. Clear, calm and consistent routines coupled with well-established whole school support systems allow the role of Cover Supervisor to be highly rewarding.

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only.
