• Relevant Experience: Prior experience supporting young people within an educational or mentorship capacity.

Core Responsibilities

• Lesson Delivery: Supervise and deliver pre:set work left by the absent subject teacher, ensuring students understand the tasks.
• Student Engagement: Actively assist and guide students with their work, keeping them motivated and on task throughout the period.
• Registration: Accurately record student attendance at the beginning of each lesson using the schools administrative system.
• Safety and Safeguarding: Ensure a safe learning environment by adhering strictly to the academys health, safety, and safeguarding protocols.
• Handover Reporting: Collect completed student work and write detailed handover notes for the returning classroom teacher.
• Adaptability: Move seamlessly between different subject areas and year groups throughout the school day as required.
