Job summary

The Purbeck School in Wareham is seeking a responsible and well-organised individual to supervise students in classrooms when the subject teacher is absent. You will support classroom activities and monitor progress during supervision to maintain a positive learning environment.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable; five GCSEs including English and Maths are essential.

Qualifications

• Recent successful experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar position within an educational environment would be desirable.
• 5 GCSEs Grade C or equivalent to include English and Maths is essential
• The role provides excellent career progression for someone considering training to become a teacher
