Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Wakefield. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who want classroom experience.

You will supervise classes during short-term absences, deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and keep students engaged. Competitive daily rates and flexible opportunities are on offer through Veritas Education.

Veritas Education is currently seeking confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
