Veritas Education is seeking confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to work across Wakefield secondary schools. This role suits graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with youth-work experience seeking classroom exposure.

You will supervise classes during short-term absences, deliver pre-set work, and maintain engagement while upholding school policies to ensure continuity of learning.

Qualifications

Veritas Education is currently seeking confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Relevant references covering the last two years.
• Ability to travel to schools across the Wakefield area.
