Job summary

Sir Jonathan North Girls' College in Leicester is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join a small team providing supervision when teaching staff are absent. You will communicate work set by teachers, support pupils, and help maintain a calm, productive classroom environment.

The role runs 8.00 am–3.00 pm during 38 weeks plus 5 INSET days, with pay scale Leicestershire Grade 7 points 11–14 (£19,643–£20,605) pro rata. Appointment is permanent and dependent on safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage behaviour and follow the College's Behaviour Policy.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff and help with resources, if needed.
• Ensure health, safety and welfare of students in class and College.
• Attend training and carry out duties such as invigilation and first aid if trained.
