Peters Hill Primary School is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027. The role is Grade 5, 31 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year). You will support teaching staff across the school and contribute specialist skills as appropriate.

Applicants must be NVQ 3 or equivalent, with hours 8.15am–3.15pm, plus a weekly 1-hour development meeting. Closing date 30 November 2026. DBS and safeguarding checks apply.

COVER SUPERVISOR

Grade 5 Point 7-11

31 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (39 weeks per year)

Salary: Grade 5 £27,274 – £29,071FTE (Actual term time salary £19,725.65 - £21,500.84 per annum)

Governors are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. You will have the ability to work across the entire school and support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils, including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.

This is a Grade 5 position and applicants will need to be qualified to NVQ 3 or equivalent.

The hours are 8.15am – 3.15pm each day (with 1 hour unpaid break) plus a 1 hour professional development meeting each week. However, hours are subject to change in order to meet the needs of the school.
