Job summary

The Bishop's CofE Primary Academy in Thetford is seeking a caring and proactive Cover Supervisor to support teachers and pupils across a range of class activities. You will help create a positive, engaging learning environment and encourage children to do their best throughout a busy term-time schedule.

The role is part-time (32.5 hours per week) within academy hours 08:15–15:45, start in November 2026. Visits are welcomed via the school office; closing date 13 November 2026.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, proactive and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team. You will support both teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You’ll be patient, approachable, and able to assist with a range of classroom activities, ensuring all children feel supported and encouraged to do their best.

Working Hours

The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of 08:15 – 15:45.
