Job summary

Millfield Primary School is seeking an experienced cover supervisor who can support class teachers with delivering the primary curriculum and providing pastoral care. The candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and high standards of English and Mathematics, with excellent communication skills to foster a positive learning environment.

The role focuses on supporting pupils and colleagues, maintaining classroom routines, and promoting positive behaviours for learning within a caring

Qualifications

  • Must be an experienced, enthusiastic cover supervisor familiar with the primary curriculum.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting class teachers with curriculum delivery and pastoral care.
  • High standards of English and Mathematics; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a positive learning environment and behaviour for learning.

  • Be an experienced, enthusiastic and imaginative cover supervisor who is knowledgeable about the primary curriculum
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of supporting class teachers with the delivery of the curriculum and pastoral care.
  • Have high standards of English and Mathematics.
  • Have a positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Have high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour.
  • Be able to demonstrate a strong ability to demonstrate their own initiative, build good relationships with pupils and establish positive behaviours for learning.
