Pay: Up to £650 per week
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available

Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary academy in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment where staff are committed to providing students with the guidance, encouragement and high expectations needed to achieve their full potential. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning by delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher. You will create a positive and purposeful classroom environment, support students to remain engaged with their work, manage behaviour in line with the academy’s expectations and provide feedback to teaching staff to support student progress. The successful candidate will be confident working with students aged 11–16, able to build positive relationships and demonstrate a calm, consistent approach to classroom management. You will be adaptable, organised and passionate about helping young people succeed, whether supporting learning, encouraging positive behaviour or contributing to the wider life of the academy. This role would suit graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to develop their career within education.
