Job summary

Campion School, Sydenham Drive, Leamington Spa CV31 1QH, is seeking a Cover Supervisor on a fixed-term basis to 31 July 2027. The role is 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time plus five days of teacher training).

Actual starting salary on F:7 pro rata is £20,514 per annum, with band salary ranging to £29,071 (F:10) for full-time equivalent. The successful candidate will support teaching staff, implement work programmes, and manage classes, with training provided for newcomers.

COVER SUPERVISOR

Fixed-Term to 31 July 2027, in the first instance

Band F Scp 7-10 - F:7 £27,274 to F:10 £29,071 (full-time salary) to work 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year (term-time only, plus five days teacher training)
Actual starting salary commencing on F:7 is £20,514 per annum after pro rata.

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to support our teaching team. You will be well-supported by senior leaders, and, if new to the role, you will receive training and guidance. Our pupils are cooperative and good behaviour is key to our success.

Cover Supervisors cover short-term absence of teaching staff. They will implement work programmes, assist pupils in their learning and manage whole classes as well as small groups. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking for variety and experience of the classroom setting without the need to take on the full responsibilities of teaching.

A successful applicant will be a good communicator with all ages and levels of ability, have a flexible approach to work and be prepared to learn new skills.
