Cover Supervisor (Primary and Secondary Support)
Vision for Education is seeking a dynamic and resilient Cover Supervisor to support across both primary and secondary phases within a specialist setting near Kirkby Lonsdale. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact on the learning and wellbeing of young people with complex needs.
The RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour in the absence of teaching staff. You will work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of pupils.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate confidence, flexibility, and a proactive attitude, alongside a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience in a similar role or setting is desirable but not essential training and support will be provided.
This is an independent specialist provision catering to pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The school supports children and young people aged between 5 and 19 years and provides a tailored curriculum in a nurturing and therapeutic environment.
