Job summary

First Class Supply is seeking a Cover Supervisor to manage the classroom, ensuring students stay on task with the work set.

You may be an experienced Cover Supervisor or hold a degree with substantial experience working with young people, ideally in a classroom environment. You should be proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable, and flexible to work at short notice when required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cover Supervisor or degree with experience working with young people.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a classroom.
• Pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable.
• Flexible to work at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom and ensure students stay on task.
• Deliver set work and monitor progress.
• Attend CPD courses and receive ongoing professional support.

• either be an experienced Cover Supervisor, or hold a degree in addition to having significant experience of working with young people, ideally in a classroom environment
• have the skills to manage challenging behaviour in the classroom
• be pro‑active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
• be flexible to work at short notice as and when the need arises.

pay rate will depend of the level of experience and qualification achieved by the post holder.
