Job summary

Sutton Community Academy is seeking a positive-minded individual to join our Cover team as a Cover Supervisor. The role involves supervising students when teachers are absent and supporting curriculum cover across all Key Stages.

A full induction and ongoing training will be provided by a supportive teaching staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with young people in an educational setting and have literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C/9-4 or equivalent.

• Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training will be required.

• £23,832 - £26,246 (actual) per annum
• 37 hours per week, 39 weeks

About The Role

The Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide outstanding supervision for students when their teacher is not present and to support and maintain curriculum cover at all Key Stages to students and staff. There will be a full induction and on-going training, together with the support of teaching staff committed to providing the best possible education for all our students.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with young people in an educational setting and have literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C/9-4 or equivalent.
