Flexzo Teach is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. The role involves supervising classes in the absence of teachers, delivering pre-planned activities and keeping students engaged with their learning.

The successful candidate will have strong classroom management, good communication skills and the ability to work across different subjects. Experience in a secondary school and safeguarding awareness are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant or similar educational role.
• HLTA status or relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience working in a secondary school environment.
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and safeguarding procedures.

Aufgaben

• Supervise secondary school classes during teacher absences.

Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday-Friday, 8:15am-3:45pm

About the Role

Flexzo Teach is currently recruiting for a confident, enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong classroom management skills who enjoys working with young people and supporting their education.

The successful candidate will supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and maintaining a positive, productive classroom environment.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status or relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience working in a secondary school environment.
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and school safeguarding procedures.

Qualified Teacher Status is not required for this position.
