Eastern Multi-academy Trust (EMAT) seeks a proactive Cover Supervisor for King’s Lynn Academy to maintain continuity of learning and foster a positive classroom environment. You will support pupils in engaging confidently with their studies and help create conditions for every student to flourish.

The role may be offered as a full-year or term-time contract; workload includes assisting with educational administration during school closures and contributing to safeguarding and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Level 2 GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• Experience of working in an education setting.
• Ability to manage classes effectively for pupil engagement.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexibly outside normal hours if required.
• Confidence in using IT systems relevant to the role.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our welcoming academy community. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils to engage confidently with their studies. Through your work, you will help create the conditions for every student to flourish.

Qualifications

• Level 2 (GCSE A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
• Experience of working in an education setting
• Ability to manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils' needs in order to involve and motivate them; including a good understanding of SEN and G&T characteristics.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly outside normal hours if necessary
• Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.

This opportunity is open to a full year or a term time contract, to be discussed at the interview stage. During school closures the successful candidate would complete educational administrative tasks.
