TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a Nottingham City secondary school. The position is a long-term, full-time role starting in September, delivering pre-prepared lessons across multiple subjects and maintaining strong classroom behaviour to keep students focused and engaged.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Nottingham City

Start Date: September

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Nottingham City that is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school offers a challenging but rewarding environment and requires confident staff who can build positive relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis from September. The successful Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-prepared work across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is preferred


• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills


• Confidence delivering pre-prepared lessons across different subjects


• A calm, resilient and positive attitude


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


• The right attitude and willingness to learn, with less experienced candidates encouraged to apply
