Job description

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Hours: Full Time, Flexible, Day-to-day opportunities available

Teaching Personnel is partnering with an Ofsted-rated "Good" mainstream secondary school in B95, Henley-in-Arden, to recruit reliable and experienced cover supervisors. Opportunities include full-time and part-time/flexible roles to fit around your schedule.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a cover supervisor in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
• Positive, confident, and capable of handling challenging environments
• Experience or understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs

Responsibilities:

• Step in confidently for absent teachers and deliver lessons across various year groups
• Follow pre-planned lessons accurately and adhere to timings
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and report concerns to SLT
• Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting incidents appropriately
• Communicate with teachers or senior staff regarding lesson progress and student work

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanent roles in the future.
