Job summary

Principal Education is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Epping and the surrounding areas. This role offers flexible daily supply with full-time and part-time opportunities, aligning with graduates, sports coaches and individuals aiming to gain classroom experience.

We are particularly interested in candidates based in Epping, Waltham Forest, Loughton, Chingford, Cheshunt, Waltham Abbey, Enfield and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Graduates welcomed to apply.
• Experience with young people or teaching-support roles preferred.
• DBS check required or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-prepared materials and keep students on task.

About the Role

Principal Education is looking for enthusiastic, confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Epping and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers and individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

We are particularly interested in candidates based in Epping, Waltham Forest, Loughton, Chingford, Cheshunt, Waltham Abbey, Enfield and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes of secondary school students in the absence of their regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation.
• Support students with their learning where appropriate.
• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and lesson instructions.

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
