Job summary

Principal Education is seeking Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in Epping and surrounding areas. You will supervise classes when teachers are absent and deliver pre-prepared materials, helping students stay on task.

This role offers flexible daily supply work for graduates, sports coaches, youth workers and others with experience with young people, across Epping, Waltham Forest and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Confident leading a classroom and supervising pupils.
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes of secondary school students in the absence of their regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation.
• Support students with their learning where appropriate.

About the Role

Principal Education is looking for enthusiastic, confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Epping and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers and individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

We are particularly interested in candidates based in Epping, Waltham Forest, , Loughton, Chingford, Cheshunt, Waltham Abbey, Enfield and surrounding areas.
